SQL > startup mount; ++ Offline drop offending datafile SQL > alter database datafile <file#> offline drop; ++ Open the database. SQL > alter database open; ++ Drop the tablespace holding the offending datafile. ++ Then repeat transportable tablespace procedure for the dropped tablespace.
